Day Nine: Blue

We declined to find out the gender in utero. We did receive hand-me-downs from a few people before I gave birth and we found out we have a daughter. That’s how we learned that gender neutral tends to mean “no pink, lots of blue, with a few actual neutrals”. Consequently, she’s been rocking a lot of stripes and dinosaurs.
It’s more bemusing than anything. The way we see it we will save our money for once she actually cares what she wears. For now, she’s attired in shades of navy, teal, and robin’s egg, colors that accentuate her sapphire eyes.
