Day Sixty-Five: Screams

My husband and I had a plan for our six hour drive home. It involved choosing specific towns to stop in for lunch, needing something both baby friendly (for our daughter) and outdoors (for our dog). Our daughter interrupted that plan an hour early by waking up with some furious wails in a scant part of the interstate.

Thank goodness for pacifiers, google maps, a patient dog, and the Chipotle website. The crisis was managed, and the rest of the trip went off smoothly. I fear we won’t always be so lucky, but I’ll take the luck while I can.
