Day Sixteen: Travel

During the hour-long feedings we watch food travel shows. They offer a rich variety of places to virtually visit. I learn how olive oil is pressed in Italy, and how mezcal is distilled in Oaxaca, Mexico. With every beautifully lit restaurant and every slow motion shot of eating, my list of places to visit grows.

I hoped to travel more once the pandemic ends. But now we have an infant to consider for cost, logistics, and peace of mind. But this is all a season. As she grows I hope we can find a way to give her the world.
