Day Sixty-Two: Music

My daughter’s favorite song thus far is Champagne Problems by Taylor Swift. Her favorite album is The Joshua Tree by U2. She’s not a big fan of Tom Petty yet, even though the first song I played for her was Wildflowers.

Tonight we went to a free outdoor concert of old Broadway hits. She was fussy on the drive over. But once she heard the music she was spellbound. She was so focused she wasn’t even interested in a bottle.

I planned on trying to cultivate a love of music in her. Turns out we didn’t even have to try.
